Privacy policy.
Plain English, no fine-print games. The free-estimate form is the only place this site collects your information — and we use it for one thing: to call you back and schedule a free on-site grading estimate. We don’t sell it. Last updated May 29, 2026.
Ridgeline Grading collects personal information in only one place: the free-estimate form on this site, where you may enter your name, phone, optional email, the town the job is in, and a short note about the work. We use those details for a single purpose — to call you back (usually within 24hr) and schedule a free on-site estimate. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to lead brokers or marketers, and we don’t collect financial or government-ID data through this website.
The short version
Ridgeline Grading LLC (“Ridgeline Grading,” “we,” “us”) is a service-area grading and excavation business based in Hendersonville, NC, serving 8 Western North Carolina counties. This website exists to explain our work and to let you request a free on-site estimate. We’re a small local crew, not a data company — we collect the least we can, use it only to do your job, and never sell it.
What we collect
The only place this site collects personal information is the free-estimate form. When you submit it, you may provide:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Email address (optional)
- The town or area the job is in
- The service you picked (grading, driveway, clearing, drainage, site prep, etc.)
- Project size and timeline you selected
- Any note you typed, plus the page you submitted from
That’s the whole list. We do not ask for, and you should never enter, a Social Security number, a payment-card number, or any bank or financial-account detail — this site never needs them. The optional note field is for describing the lot and the work, for example “steep gravel driveway off a private road that keeps washing out.”
Like virtually every website, our host also keeps routine, automatically generated server logs (such as the requesting IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and basic, aggregate traffic counts. We don’t use those logs to build an advertising profile of you.
How we use it
We use what you submit for one job: to respond to your estimate request and carry out the project you asked about. Concretely, that means a Ridgeline estimator calls or texts the number you provided — usually within 24hr — to schedule the site walk, prepare a written scope, and coordinate the work. We may email the estimate or follow-up if you gave us an address. We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing, and we don’t add you to a bulk mailing list.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to other contractors, lead-generation brokers, or marketers.
- We don’t run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
- We don’t collect financial-account or government-ID data through the website.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the few service providers that make the site and our callbacks work, and only as needed to do that:
- Form processing. Your estimate submission is delivered to us through a third-party form service (Formspree) that emails it to our inbox.
- Hosting. The site runs on standard web infrastructure that keeps the routine server logs described above.
- Legal. We may disclose information when a law, subpoena, or court order requires it, or to protect the safety of people or property.
If we later adopt a scheduling or customer-records (CRM) tool to manage estimate requests, it will be permitted to use your data only to serve you — never to resell it. This policy will be updated if that happens.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as we reasonably need them to do the work, stand behind it, and meet tax and legal obligations — typically a few years for an active or completed job. If you requested an estimate, decided not to move forward, and want your information deleted sooner, just ask (see below).
Your choices & your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you’ve given us at any time. Because we’re a small local business and not a data broker, there’s no portal — your request goes to a real person. Just call (828) 510-7217 or email [email protected] and tell us what you’d like changed or removed, and we’ll confirm once it’s done. You can also block or delete cookies in your own browser at any time without breaking the site.
Children
This site is for property owners and people planning grading and site work. It is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our form, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll post the revised policy on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes take effect when posted. This version was last updated on May 29, 2026.
